Hey y'all, The Army is sending me to Korea in a couple of months, and I want to sell the bikes before I go. I have had my Uly for a little over six years, and it has been a great companion on and a little bit of off road. I have taken some long trips, and I have used it for daily commuting. I really love the bike, and the experience I had at Homecoming back in 2007 was the best. However, finding a Buell technician in the US is hard, and I'm sure it will be ten times as hard in Korea. So it must go. I'm asking $5,250 for it. There is cosmetic damage to the right hand guard, mirror, PIAA light, saddlebag, and a bit on the windscreen. The front brake is also curved. I dropped the bike in the driveway one winter after they'd just plowed, and it slid about five feet on its side. Everything works fine, but I never bothered replacing the scuffed parts. Also, it's going to need a rear tire soon, (probably already does, but I'm riding this one out). The bike runs fine, and has a new belt and new front brake pads. There have been some maintenance issues over the years, (cooling fan died, spark plug stripped) but they've all been fixed by a qualified repairman, (not me!) Here are the things I've put on the bike: Zumo 665 with XM antenna Autocom intercom system with volume amplifier PIAA driving lights Battery tender cable Gerbing heated clothing cable Voltage indicator light Dual FIAMM horns HID headlights with "both on" mod Two tool tubes Comfort kit Reflective tape on the bags I also have the following accessories to sell with it: Special OPS muffler Cee Bailey 16 windshield Buell underseat storage bag Buell tool kit Buell tank bag Odie's heat shield The USB cable that hooks to the ECU (I can't remember the name of it) An extra muffler clamp The 2006 Ulysses Service Manual The extra parts alone are probably worth about $1500, but I'd rather sell the whole kit and kaboodle to someone who will enjoy it and use the parts I've gathered to customize the bike their way. Send me an email at my Gmail address: sean.mccafferty Thanks for looking!

So tell me folks, am I pricing it too high? Is it because of the scuffs on the hand guard and bag? I just sold my KLX250, and had about twelve people practically fighting over it. I'm willing to sell parts, but I'd rather sell the whole thing at once if possible, rather than run around trying to ship the muffler here, the bag there, the tool kit to another place, etc... If it's stupid-high price, I can lower it. I have a clean title, so I don't have to make a certain amount or anything. I'm just trying to figure out why there's no love for the Buell. |

You've been screwed over by the bigHD machine like me, and everyone else that bought one new, the market value of these is next to nothing.I don't keep a bike this long as a rule, but I'm stuck with it for better or worse, going to try to make it the better. My bikes are now 66% (xl600r,crf450x) Honda,if the buell goes someday,I'll be 100% Honda |

Bike has been sold, thanks! Hopefully sometime I can get back on board a Buell, but it will have to wait until I get back from Korea. |
