Any difference between the tall 06 seat and a normal 07 seat? | ||

All of the Buell tall seats are the same except color. Buell made a couple of different low seats. Seats are interchangeable between any Uly model year. Tall seats came stock on 06. 07 was the first year the lower seat came as stock. The tall seat is almost flat and wider while the low seat is scooped out. | ||

Cool, never knew that. I might be interested in the tall seat then. No idea if I will like it better or worse than my 07 seat, but it's worth a try. I'm near Cincy (Lebanon, right by Kings Island)... are you headed up this way any time soon? Come a window of warm weather, I'd do a road trip to Louisville on the bike. I'm sure I could figure out how to strap a seat to my seat.  | ||

Last Saturday I rode about an hour with the spare seat for my XB12STT and the number plates in a duffel bag strapped to the back of the seat with a pair of roc-straps. I didn't have any room to scoot back but it wasn't bad. On a Uly it looks like you'd have a lot more room. | ||

Well I talked to Mr Grumpy at the post office where my wife used to work. I wouldn't put it past him as he gave us a tough time on some stuff we just shipped. Both seats are at work. I'll visit the Knoxville PO and get a price. Thanks for the heads up. | ||
