XB 1200 Lightning My headlights keep burn out they might last for a couple of hours.
I have changed spark plug wires and plugs because i suspected that the wires (leaked) and sends its current into the headlights threw the wire harness that goes quite near the spark plug wires.
I have checked the charging voltage and it is 14, something volts Please give me some ideas what might be wrong.
Thanks Niklas

Your voltage regulator is failing, it is not keeping the voltage near 14.2V, and when it spikes to 17+ volts, it blows your headlight bulbs.

Replace the VR

Could be VR related grounds or connectors as well, but it has to be VR related if you are seeing more than 15V or so.
