Anyone know the composition and weight of teh Marchesini wheels on the S2? Are they forged? Looking for a light set of wheels for a vintage racer at reasonable cost and thought these might fit the bill. Thanks. |

The Marchesini wheels were sand cast, which explains the texture of the unmachined areas. The weight data for tuber wheels is very well known from an old Battle 2Win article - which, unfortunately, I don't have handy. A search on here might produce the weight data, 1313 |

Thanks guys. Looks like they are about the same as most stock wheels which are also cast aluminium. |
