It's been about a year since I last looked and there was no clear answer. Can I simply put the CR rear pulley and tensioner on an R without swapping swingarms? Last time everyone said no but a guy drag racing said it was totally fine. Is that still the answer? Thanks! |

it can be done. it has been done both methods. i've heard about R's braking belts, but i've personally seen a CR snap it's belt too. ... i've never seen a R with a tensioner and CR belt belt & pulley snap one .... THEY MUST BE TEH MOST RELIABLE! /sarcasm give it a try and let us know how many miles you can put on it. worst case you can just put your old belt and pulley back on, and still be ahead $wise than if you had bought a CR swingy |

I put Cr Gearing on my 08 1125R without changing the swing arm. I had to put an over sized pulley to put the proper tension on the belt. |
