Someone snapped off my left front turn signal. I haven't found a direct replacement and I was thinking about replacing all the turn signals with the signals from a CR1125, which use LEDs and are much brighter. They mount in the same way, which is great but here's the problem: the turn signal cancellation module doesn't work with the LED units. Wondering if anyone else has installed LED signal lamps and whether the CR1125 has a cancellation module that I can swap in. Thanks! |

the cr runs the signals through the cluster, there is no module. try adding resistors to the signals, there may not be enough load for the module to sense the blinkers working. |

Thanks RB... that makes sense on both fronts. now to find an ohmmeter and try to figure out how much resistance to add. |

Do a search in KV electrics section, or over on XBoard. A lot of folks have swapped xb signals out to LED. There is info on what radio shack resistors to get. |

If you need an LED capable relay quick: Triton EP34. I have it in my S1 and it works fine with a set of front BikeMaster LED turn signals. Should be able to pick it up at most major auto parts store. Autozone, Pep Boys, etc. |

Would an LED flasher relay work with the self-cancelling module? |

No. The module is HD's version of a flasher relay, with a distance-input for self cancel capability plus hazard light capablity. |

Does any body know where I can get a stock right front turn signal for a 95 S2? I remember seeing a post that the turn signals used on the 1995 Triumph Daytona are the same as those used on the 1995 S2. Is this true? |

I give up on searching and buying OEM turn signals for my S2, the new ones break at the base just like the old ones. I think the last group i bought was from Buellsterparts.com. I am going to next purchase a complete kit from bad lands motorcycle products. They have options as to have self canceling or not , and combinations of other sorts for l.e.d.s. There products will work on buell S2's. they have the best wiring diagram. |
