... on my '97 S-3. Why else would it squeak at idle? Upon closer examination, the Z-bracket is cracked, again! A. Does anyone have a source for this (no-part-number) piece, or an extra to part with? B. When I looked at the Mounting update Bulletin again, it says "not for pre-'99 S-3's". If not that, how does it hang? My Z-bracket fit, and worked for a while. C. What's the part number for the rubber inserts in the holes cast into the underside of the engine? |

These SERVICE BUELLetins are not written by RETRO FIT KNOWAGEABLE OLD SCHOOL PARTS MEN !!! The upside down "Y" BRACKET fits my 1997 S3T ??? It said(SERVICE BUELLiten) the same thing on the BUELL FAN KIT, "BUT" it fits my BUELL ... |

LaFayette, My point exactly. The Y-Bracket and Z fit perfectly, and have done well, much better than the original. I had a really good welder reinforce the collector wye, eliminating the tab, so it looks clean. James, thanks for the numbers. Now I'll see if they work! |
