Bought a tall windscreen a few years ago, used it for a short time and wasn't sure that I liked it. Now, I want to give it another chance, but I can't find the hardware for the lower holes. Anyone out there have those fasteners laying around gathering dust? Thanks! |

I have a set. Do you need all 4? Let me double check, but I ordered a full set from Al and never used them. JB |

Jason, when I bought the windscreen it had two of the plastic nipples installed in the top holes and came with machine screws, washers and threaded rubber plugs for the bottom holes. I saw what Al had, and those are just the plastic nipples that come on the short stock screen. So, do you have the screw in ones? Thanks, Jeff |

There are bigger or more wide on the stem of the nipples, those were a revised version, but for sure the one with the screw is the way to go. Also talking about tall screens any one has used a Gustafson one? as they don't come predrilled (like ZG) and when i got mine while drilling it cracked and split any one has managed to use and drill it? Thanks |

77, there are special bits for acrylic. They have a steeper angle at the tip to prevent cracking. |

I see, but i wonder if they will drill up to 9,5 mm that is the aproximate size for our bikes. |

77, metric might be hard to find, but here's a 5/16" that might work with some reaming to enlarge the hole, or you should be able to find a 3/8". http://www.amazon.com/Craftics-Plas-Drill-Bit-5-16 /dp/B0011Z4K3Q/ref=pd_cp_hi_0 |

I have the plastic push rivets. Let me know either way. |

Thought maybe I could persuade someone to give up their hardware, with a trade for some custom inserts for their luggage.
