took off the primary cover to check out the condition of the shoe and when i cleaned the cover i noticed there are several wear marks along the edge of the inner part of the cover... is this normal or did the PO keep his chain too tight/loose? |

If you run your chain at the correct adjustment of 3/4 inch play on the tight spot and do not check it ever 5K miles this will happen ... "BUT" it is nothing to be concerned about ... |
