Yea, it was actually the first time I rode the bike, it froze stuck open on the highway during my rush hour commute. |

Hm. Well if it was your first time out, it could very well have been cable-freeze. |

I has happened to mine after a long ride in the rain, then very cold the next day. Moisture was making it stick. I put it in the shop, warmed the cables up with a heat gun and hit it good with WD 40. I have not had that problem again in the past four years. It was the first time I had lubed the throttle cables. The clutch cable I lube every time I change the primary juice. It seems that keeps it from having a moisture issue. |

No problem with the clutch cable other than it needs adjusted. I'm thinking (oops) that It's ice build up between the throttle plate and wall. Probably some dirt has grown in there again. Problem is that every time it gets warm enough in the garage to pop it open and clean/inspect it, I start it up and go for a ride. Is that odd? I think the Uly only missed one rain storm this year. I had to put Stabil in the Jeep and the battery on a tender. It is an 08 XB12XT. Could have water anywhere. |

Check the radiator. Maybe you have an intake gasket leaking allowing antifreeze to dampen the airflow. Ya just cannot trust water leaks on an airhead. Starting it up to ride it.....who would have thought?
