Hello everyone! I have no idea why but the in the last 2 days my Uly has been running better than ever! Great smooth rev's, feels lighter, with great throttle response! Fun to the max! Not sure if the engine is finally breaking in...2006 had 4K when I bought it a couple of months ago and now crossed the 6.5K mark or if it's the weather/temperature making her work better (65 and dry today). Whatever it is, I hope the bike stays like this...it's like someone turned on the fun switch on this thing! Love it! Rod |

Same here on my 2007- identical mileage. Last time I took it out it ran noticeably better. The bike really likes the lower temps ( 70's) vs the 90's I rode it in this summer. |

Every time I start mine the fun switch is turned on. Runs and sounds great but yeah it likes the cool weather |

Mine likes breathing cool, dense air much better. It is noticeably smoother and stronger in the winter. |

Stuff a rag in the oil cooler to warm it up properly. |

Just be careful what you wish for - - when it gets real cool, you'll find yourself complaining that the bike isn't "warming up" your right leg and ass enough. . . They do run better in cooler temps, IMO. |

I got my 06 Uly with 1700 miles on it. It needed to get to 4k, to break in and made more power until it got to 6.5k and then it was fine. Sounds about normal to me. Change the oil lots in this period as it does have a hard time in this engine. |
