Hey All, I am getting 2007 springs installed in my 2006 forks. What is the oil level required? I have found 2 answers so far. 18oz each side and 16 oz (from the manual). But does the fact I am putting the springs in a different fork make a difference? |

Actually, there also seems to be a discrepancy between he distance of the fork oil from the top of the tube. 192mm vs 172mm. Can anybody shed some light on this? |

Thanks for that. The manual does say 192mm for 2007 I don't know where the 172 comes from, but it does say + or - 8mm so I think we are going to go 180mm to get some where in the middle. Cheers. |

Go by what the manual specs it to be. I just copied and pasted that whole thing from a Badweb search on fork oil level. |

Use the 07 manual for the 07 springs. The ONLY change (parts-wise) from 06-07 was the springs themselves. Did the swap on my bike a couple years ago, used 07 fluid levels...verrrry happy |
