Went for a ride last weekend and the battery died on the Uly so I had to clutch start it at every stop. At one start I found the below plastic part melting on top of the rear pipe just near the exhaust port. There is also a lot of oil there. It looks to me like it may be part of the Fan, (the fan still works but has a lot of oil around it). Any ideas on what this might be? Sorry for the quality of the photo's.

Looks like those things that plug the bungee cord slots under the seat. The oil on the fan could be a problem though. Did you check the rear rocker box gasket? |

Thanks Ulynut, you could be correct I didn't think of the bungee slots and yes I have ordered new rocker box gaskets I'm pretty sure that's where the oil is coming from. |
