Also... I want to nominate Oldog for a "welcome home" party.
Yesterday, I told Brankin he is having a Halloween party too... I am not sure if he will comply.

Guess where I am?
Sorry for keeping everyone in suspense for so long but it was kind of fun.
I'll spill the beans now.
I started work on Monday. Interestingly, it's for the same company I used to work for in New Bern. Now, instead of dealing with clothes dryers, I'm dealing with cooking appliances. There are multiple cool aspects of my return to BSH:
1. Because it was less than 6 months since I left, HR considers it as I have never left. I get 3 weeks of vacation per year, in a little over 1 year it will be my 10 year anniversary, etc.
2. I negotiated the same salary I had at ESAB in Florence, SC - which was a nice bump from where I was at BSH previously.
3. I get to keep and live in the house I bought a little over 1 year ago.
4. I already know the processes, how things work and most of the people I'll be working with.
5. I am the 1st of 4 people that will be added to the group I'm in, and there are projects slated out to 2016.
And most importantly:
6. You are all stuck with me again!
Now instead of parking where the red lightning bolt is I park where the green lightning bolt is:
I hope you all can handle having me around again...

Not sure how likely it is, but it would continue a tradition from the builder and previous owner of my house... |

Short notice but Jim-Oldog, B-rankin, Michael-Bsdfool and maybe others are going to try to hook up for an early afternoon ride tomorrow... maybe somewhere in the middle of Wilmington/ New Bern/ Durham... like Fayetteville?
Sorry my geography not so good.
Maybe go by the Suarez Hotel and harass Carlos... I think Lucas probably misses me.  |

Today was fun! Wish we could have stayed out longer, but Carlos is back upstairs studying for his next test.

The location was really the only thing that was super cool about that job. I would've dealt with it, though. Who knows what would've happened if they didn't have a hiring freeze after I interviewed. But then again these are HORRIBLE times to try and sell a house.
So the way things worked out were IDEAL!
