almost feels like a re-birth. Its been 8 months since Ive ridden. Had the engine rotated about 8 months ago so I can fix a leaky rocker cover gasket(you know the one... the one in the rear). Well, kinda sat on it too long and finally got it back together with no leaks. Feels good to ride it again, and even better that I'm saving a bunch on gas. Even did the breather bypass deal and have a 3/8's hose going out the back. Still getting 39mpg, which is way better than the 12mpg that the truck was getting. |

Glad to hear the Uly made it back from the "uggh, one more thing I gotta do" list and in to the role of relief valve. Welcome back. Here's hoping it stays off of the fecal roster of burdens that conspire to rob you of seat time.

Break that sucker in!!! 39mpg, I rape mine when I ride and get 45+. Glad to hear you are back on it. I may be off mine now for a while, this pain in my neck I used to call the wife, is actually a rotated vertebrae, and compressed disc. they are talking surgery and fusing now, sheesh.... LOL Bruce |

Redshift, You must be the size of a quasar to be only getting 39 mpg. Expansion of the universe be damned. |

6'1" 190lbs(starting to sound like a craigslist posting). its a 2010, if that matters and in so cal. Not sure if i read some place on here that the < 2008's were better on mpg. I cant understand why that would be. In anycase I only rarely ride it like I stole it which would include on the way to work and the ride back home. |
