DDFI isn't bad. DDFI-*1* is pretty horrid though DDFI-II and III work pretty darned well on the XBs And...108/92? HOLY CRAP. Verrrry nice!! |

Where'd you get the pushrod tubes from? If I had known they existed, I would have bought a set. I just got my engine back together. Switched to thunderstorms. Damn. A little too late. |

Looks really sharp. Sweet power you've got going on there. I really like how nice the swing arm and associated parts turned out in black, I've been wanting to do that with my bike for years. Now that I see how clean it looks I want to get it done that much more. Very nice! |

Ok, I'm lovin' the look of the removable pushrod tubes, with the big billet block on the bottom. I want a set, but I just put my motor back together. Hasn't been run yet though. If I tear it down far enough to replace the tubes, does anybody think I will need new gaskets? I've got the Cometic set in with the single metal gasket in place of 16 and 17 in this pic. I know the rubber ones numbered 6 and 7 will be fine.
Thanks to Mudshuvel319 for originally posting this pic in "rocker box reassembly" While I'm at it, whats involved in an "XB conversion" that was also mentioned in that thread? Who's got a pic? I want to see. |
