Just bought a new lathe today, so if anyone wants me to make some stuff let me know... Ie. ISO stiffeners, or swing arm spacers... I myself will be making some spacers to use the XB forks on the tuber tripples |

I'd be interested in XB fork tuber triple spacers also. Thanks |

Jason, I just picked up a set for the rear wheel and a triple spacer... you'll have to come up and get the measurements! Haha |

Make one of these.
1.00 cube. .875 sphere. .750 windows. Yes I have terminal boredom. (Message edited by Jramsey on May 20, 2011) |

The sphere in cubic cage is neat. I really like stuff like that. Take it up another notch and do a sphere in a cube in a triangular pyramidal cage? Betcha can't do it. |

James, The one underneath looks even more challenging. Looks like it's inner edges are straight even though the dimensions are even more challenging (smaller cube). How'd you do it? |

"And I bet your ass you didnt make that on a lathe. LoL." The material for the cube was squared up on the mill, the ball was turned in the lathe(indexed 6 times) then back on the mill where the windows were cut. I sent one to Oldog a year or so ago,the sphere in that one was bead blasted,I think he is still trying to figure out how I blasted the sphere without blasting the cage. Google "turners cube", many have turned a ball in a ball in a cube. I kinda cheated, made a collet to hold the cubes because I didn't want to indicate it in the 4 jaw for each step.

>>> Yes I have terminal boredom. Okay then, modify my "take it up another notch" challenge above; make the sphere from copper alloy, the cube from titanium, and the pyramidal cage from Inconel. |

"The one underneath looks even more challenging. Looks like it's inner edges are straight even though the dimensions are even more challenging (smaller cube)." Optical illusion, both are the same. Must be the camera angle. |

I love that "desk art" stuff! Project for your lathe; I made some of my own clamps for bar end mirrors. The ones you get are cheap! I will send you some dimensions. Mine fit 7/8 bars, clamp the mirrors in tight, and are also easy to remove. I bet lots of guys will want a set. |

You know, it would be nice to get ahold of the drawings for the various machined parts that H-D will run out of in time... |
