Thanks man. now my next question is what do I do about sprockets? I'm still not sure I'm going to do it tho. weighing that vs bars. (Message edited by budgolf on February 09, 2011) |

Question regarding sprockets was really just what would fit. I mean I assume they aren't universal and you never see them advertised for Buells. I'm not sure yet that I'm going to do it though. The company is Jeepers Racing here in NC. From the looks of it they do great work. And they said it would run me about 400. And they know it's a cast aluminum arm. I thought that was a pretty good price. But I still might go with the bars. I'm just new enough to drag racing that I'm not sure how much money I want to sink into it. I did track days all the time years ago and love road racing, but the thought of my bike doing endos down the track after a high side bothers me. If it weren't for my fear of tearing up my bike, I would just go back to road racing. Either way, I'm doing a test and tune this weekend, and I'm working towards Rockingham in April. But, as usual a deployment has popped up out of thin air, and my pre mission training will probably blow all of my plans to hell. |

The front transmission sprocket is only available through Ebr. If your using a stock rear wheel vortex makes rear sprockets all different sizes. |

I am using PMFR rear and I can't remember the front off hand. Paid a little more for the rears over vortex but heard they last longer. |

Yeah I'm going to try to make it. I don't think I'll have my bars by then though. Maybe you can give me some pointers. |

I'll tell you anything I know...wont be much Hope you come down Should be good, Rockinghams first TNT of the season, so should bring out a good amount of people, but Im thikning it'll run good enough to get plenty of practice in. I THINK there will be some Nitro Harleys there, know of one that told me he was going to be there. Im going down with a buddy of mine on a VRod, I'll be there with my S3, and Im sure there will be other bikes there AHDRA has a race the next weekend in Orlando, and there is no AHDRA only TNT session at that race (sucks), so the locals should be at Rock to shake off the cobwebs You know my bike, you know my leathers, look for me |
