Well, I got caught with one wheel in the air.  Luckily, the officer also rode motorcycles so he was lenient and hit me with careless operation. Y'all watch out. I was pulled by an unmarked Impala. Police are everywhere and driving everything.

Oops. Yea, be careful. I saw a moron in a Mustang come hauling a** up the median in morning rush hour traffic on Ladson Road one day last week passing ~1/2 mile of cars to get to the light and turn left at Lincolnville Road. One of those cars turned out to be an officer (HP?) in an unmarked SUV who pulled right out behind him. He deserved to get busted.
Traffic is generally nuts. I headed out towards the country for a short ride today and enjoyed it. You know, these air cooled engines do like the cold air, don't they? I noticed my front wheel getting light a couple of times. |

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.This was my first White Christmas and also was a very busy one with the family.
Probably will try and hit Cycle Gear up on New Year's Day and try to get a deal on some of the mesh gear I saw in their book I got in the mail. |

yea yea, i know. It was a straight up trade, xb had lower miles, lots of goodies on it, but i couldnt bring myself to get rid of the m2. |

I did a ~70 mile round trip ride yesterday afternoon/evening to our local ADVrider group monthly dinner. It was about 59 deg. F when I left the house at 5 PM and 50 deg. F when I got back at 8:30 PM.
Today looks better- wish I was out riding! |

I had a good ~160 mile ride with some local ADVriders. Mostly backroads (pavement) in Clarendon County with a few stretches of dirt roads mixed in.
Man, I think I actually broke a sweat while riding at one point. I'd almost forgotten what it felt like to ride without being cold! |

I went to the the Easyriders show in Charlotte last weekend.It was about the same as last year with a few of the same bikes and not as many cars and trucks.I did get to see a couple of Buells that wasn't butchered up(streched though)and made into a mutant.Anyways here are a couple of pics.
I saw a another tuber at a vendor that wasn't streched and didn't get a pic of it!I had a pretty good time and hope it will be a little bigger next year.
I need to get out for a nice ride.Today was a prefect day but didn't find the time.Hopefully I can get one more ride on my front before I put on a new set. |

Wow. That has to be the worst thing I have seen done to Blast. I would rather see a mutant Blast. I thought a 600cc bike stretched was dumb, but a stretched thumper??? C'mon. How much power you think that thing uses just to turn that absurdly huge rear rubber?

Gents, i was referred to you by the current owner of a 08 xb12r which i am looking to purchase. he said you were the 'go to guys' on these bikes. Anything going on in the next month or so? Is there a different site or community other than this?

Welcome Ryan, were the local guys in SC and there are some that can advise you. Your main source of tech. info would be in the XBoard section. If you get the bike I'm sure you will enjoy the experience. |
