Jay do you have to buy your own tungsten? I bought a box while I was taking welding classes because I did a TON of aluminum and would gum up my tungsten so often I wanted a spare (yea I also dropped the tip in my puddle every now and again too ) but I would also have 4-5 hours arc on time each day in class. but they only sell tungsten by the box so I have a couple extra 1/8" 2% thoriated rods in 7" length if you need. I don't own a welder at home so this just sit in my toolbox. |

Now I read save my spare rear tire... arghhh Well for a good story and shipping its able to ship to another person trying to make a change. No free loading. Jay I tried. But looks like Hammer beat me to the Gun. ah I have Two welders now. one tri mix one helium based mix large shop bottles,I'll never run out at home. Anyone needing help on rear end Auto axel driveline info and how to's I know a lot on it. I'm Dana Spicer, AAM (American Axel~ Gm and Dodge(CHRY)),Arvin merito, and ect Certified in those brands from the Manufacturer. Pto certified in Cheaslea and Muncie, Warn wince certified on all there stuff, and Doosan&Ingersolrand certified on Onboard power solutions Equipment(crzy screw drive cfm air power and ect). So, I have a few bits of info in the cranium. love that 99 Gm 8.5 rear it has three designs two can inner change one your screwed. The only way to know exactly which one you have it open it and measure the Diff race OD and Bearing ID on the diff. the large ID is only one fit the small ID has two bearings(same Id different OD) that makes it fit in both. same on the seal kits. one is like a saver style from the factory. if the yoke is worn dont toss it pry off the saver and get the late style seal.(older 8.5 gm) install on truck. it fits 100% then put yoke back on with out saver(oem part). poof fixed at 1/3 cost. |
