Maybe next time.   Toona Posted on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 - 07:21 pm:        Hmm, I've ridden about 250 miles so far on the XT. I must say, it gets better each and every time I take it out! With the exception of last night's Tipton Mountain run since PennDOT tar and chipped the road. It's like riding on a grooved bridge for about 5-6 miles, chasing the bike all over the road is no fun. I don't know if it's the road or the tires or a combo of both. I'm thinking unless it gets worn smooth by next year's Res Ride, we won't be taking that route for awhile. The rear Diablo Corsa (?) is about shot. I think I'm going to try and hold out until Conti releases the Road Attack 2 in the spring and pick up a pair. I've always liked the regular RA's, but the RA 2 is supposed to have a different curing process to increase center tread life. It's still a single compound rubber though.   Toona Posted on Monday, February 14, 2011 - 09:58 pm:        I finally got the Conti Road Attack 2's mounted on the rims. Now just to find the time to get them back on the bike.... The warmer temps have "inspired" me to get busy on it. Now for some rain to wash the roads clean, which we may get this weekend.... Nittany...The KEDA pipe is all shiney. I won't be in the shop Saturday morning, but should be in after 1:00.
