Jed, Found an interesting way up to the spot on 125 the other day. Too bad I bounced it off the rev limiter also....Now have the top end off the bike and scattered across the floor. Should have it back together fri night. Paul, If I get the S1 back together.... I am hoping to wring it out on saturday. |

Loki, "Scattered across the floor".......man that sounds scary....not sure if you heard or not, but the other guy Brian with the tube-frame lightning blew his engine that day right before he made it to his garage. THAT sucks! I'm gonna be out of town this weekend so I won't be able to make the Ephrata ride, (or Saturday) but I'll be out with bells on next week...... Paul, as long as there's not an inch of water on the road, the sky can be black, and it could be well into football season but I'll still ride..... |

Way to be Jed. I caught the thermometer at the bank on Derry St. in Hbg last winter at 11 degrees. I got some serious looks but it's not that bad. Where do you guys (Loki) ride? Paul |

ITS ALIVE! She is no longer scattered across the floor, just one shake, shake, shakin monster. Lit the fire at one this afternoon. Next weekend is my long one so I will up for a ride. Paul, When out by myself there is no telling. Just pick a road and see where it takes me. Always open to suggestions though. As of late been venturing to the north. Tomorrow I will be tweakin the ride some, give it a good shakedown and see what I missed. Sunday will be a good day for me though. Jed, I talked to him that saturday at Whites. It did not sound that bad, these powerplants can be decieving sometimes. Any idea when he will be back up and out of the shop?

Alright, I'll find out. We can meet at Long's again if you want. I'll check with the other riders. Prs: First Sun of every month about 2000+ riders show up for a breakfast at the American Legion in Ephrata. It's like $7 bucks (or $8) for breakfast buffet, then you digest and look at everyone bikes, meet new people, (PA, MD, DE, NJ) then at some point, we take - off for a ride! |

Brian got his lightning back form White's. He was complaining about losing power again but I took a spin yesterday and it felt normal to me. I don't get it, anyway we may have another BUELL join us. |

If he shows this weekend, I'll see if he wants to swap bikes for a bit. Check it out and see for myself. I noticed that it was not sitting in the back, they ever give him a good run down? Another one? We will still be outnumbered though...I like the changes that have transpired on my S1. The XB rocker box tops are a major improvement. No more oily leathers, the cf ham can is more to my liking than the hyper-charger it replaced. Bike feels different since the heads were off and de-carboned. I may need to play with the jetting some now, rear cyl was way to rich. The front was much better. Went out with another guy, bike will unload the front real quick in a full lean. Something I have come to expect with this one. I think I will be considerate and ride the noisy beast at the back.....or issue ear plugs to those around me. Brian might be feeling the TPS not being zeroed correctly. Did he say when it felt like he was losing power?

Sure...lets figure out where to meet 1st. Loki, where do you want to meet Prs? Sam can't go (as of now) his chain & sprocket are toast. (heh, heh, "chain".....) anyway, how about in Hershey? Prs, are you familiar with any landmarks along 322 in Hershey? Loki, Brian said he thought it was losing power but it didn't act up for me. |

Yea, It's not far for me to get to the 322/39/Hershey Park drive interchange. So I can just scoot down 322 to where you'd guys like to meet. The further east on 322 the less familiar with landmarks I am but that's why God made addresses. Paul |

Lets do what is easiest for PRS. I will swing by the office on friday and set a meet point for us. Will Brian be going? A shame Sam can't. The beast is feeling a little friskier since the repair work. |

Good news, Sam fixed his bike and Brian is gonna join us. Prs, we can meet you at the gas station (Turkey Hill.....I think) across from the outlets on Hershey Park Drive. That would be a left onto Hershey Park Drive from Rt 39. We were planning on being there around 8:30. At 9:00-ish we're gonna meet the other riders at a dinner for breakfast. You can email me for my cell #...jedhead@mindspring.com, or just post here if you plan on meeting there. See you guys Sun! Bryce |

thanks Jed, I'm looking forward to it. I'm gonna be out that way today so I'll make a dry run to make sure just where it is. Not that it matters but how long/far do you guys usually ride? Paul |
