Author Message   Mech Posted on Friday, August 20, 2010 - 11:39 pm:        I recently bought an 1125cr used with about 400 miles on it and was wondering if the warranty is transferable and how to I go about doing this? Any info would help. I tried to use the search but I’m not the best at the computer thing so thanks in advance for the help.   Mechanicsn Posted on Saturday, August 21, 2010 - 12:11 am:        You can go to the dealer with the VIN number and have them look up the original date of sale. The warranty starts from the original date of sale and is good for two years with no limit on mileage.   Xnoahx Posted on Saturday, August 21, 2010 - 01:44 am:        Mechanicsn is correct on that. The factory warranty follows the bike. If there is extended warranty, that would need to be transferred over.
