I recently installed the Erik Buell Racing Race Ecm on my 08 1125R. Is De-noiding still adviseable or does the race Ecm not activate the solenoid at all? |

I would still de-noid it... only takes a second and i felt a nice improvement in throttle response when i did mine. |

The noid can cause throttle binding and prevent the throttle from opening all the way. Or at least it did on my bike. It's quick and easy to get rid of, it serves no good purpose, and it can cause problems. Three good reasons to pitch it in the trash. (Or at least stash it on the shelf.) |

Plus the solenoid is now about 2 lb. of useless weight. Ditch it. I'm pretty sure the race ECM negates the need for the resistor plug in the solenoid coupling, too. |
