After almost a year of riding the 1125R it turns out the bike is just too aggressive for my riding style. I really miss my X1 Lightning, and would love to get on an XB model. Here is what I'm looking for: -I prefer an XB12SCG or XB12SS, but am interested in all models(I would also be interested in trading for bikes similar to the lightning, something sporty, naked, and with an upright/semi-upright riding position, such as a ducati monster, triumph street triple, etc.) -I prefer mostly stock bikes, so while modifications are fine, I prefer something that is easily reversed back to stock, and prefer if the bike comes with stock parts if any were taken off. -If the bike is older(03-06) I would like a bike with not much more than 12 thousand miles, and newer bikes must have at least 5k thousand miles(it's an odd request I know, but in order to register a used bike in California, it must have a certain number of miles and 5k is something I can work with). -Distance is not an issue, I will be leaving California for Michigan next Friday, and I will be taking the bike with me. I'll be going south to Austin, Texas, then north to Michigan, and on my return trip I'll be going through Wisconsin, South Dakota, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and back to CA. I will be in Michigan 2 months on vacation, and have no problem making a road trip for the right bike. Now for all that, here is what you get. 2008 1125R, currently has just over 3400 miles, and as of september will have 3 years left on the warranty(purchased new in september '09 with 4 year warranty). Briefly, here is how the bike is set-up right now: HMF Exhaust(this has been removed, and pending a possible sale, stock exhaust is back on) Techspec grip skins on frame, tank sides, and tank belt area Erik Buell racing ohlins steering damper Carbon fiber swingarm heelguards passenger pegs removed intake solenoid removed and Erik Buell Racing resistor installed American Sport Bike quick disconnect seat pins I have all the stock parts, 2 sets of keys, and all the books/paperwork that came with the bike.    Additionally, I would also be interested in a bike I could do 2 up riding on comfortably(in an attempt to get my girlfriend on the back more often). I know the big H has become a bad word around here, but I'd be interested in a Dyna glide, or some type of sport touring motorcycle as well. However, I'm not looking for a Uly, I tried one out briefly, and it is way too tall for me to be comfortable while driving in traffic(I'm only 5'6"), so I guess that would eliminate other similar bikes that have extremely high seat heights as well. Hi, I have a couple on bikes you might be interested in, I have a 2000 X-1 that has been completely rebuilt. Chassis has 10,000 miles on it. New motor has 65 miles, not even broken in yet. Also have a 2000 S-3T with about 29,000 miles. Both bikes have been well maintained, I'm a Service Manager for a local H-D dealer. If your interested, let's talk. Mike | ||

Mike, I'm really only interested in the newer XB bikes, and would prefer 2006 or newer, but like I said, will consider a 2003-05 if the bike is right. Thanks for the offer though. | ||

3,002, as i still drive it. i live in columbia sc. long trip. the bike is all stock except for the seat. i put on a low seat but still have stock. i also took off the passenger pegs but still have them. i am 5'6 and i tried to ride double on it, and it is not good for that because the seat is not long. i am like you, i want to see what options there are for me to trade but do not really need to. | ||
