Please help. I'm 6'6" and I have a bad knee. How can I lower my foot peg to relax the flex I have to put on my knee, since I cant put highway pegs on this bike..... or can I? | ||

Knight Designs sells lower pegs, Palmer Products makes highway pegs. I have the opposite problem, the stock pegs are way too low, not an issue on my 1125's. | ||

I like the 2" drop Precision Engineering Pegs I Got, Got My knees out of the Cutouts. Only 6'2, but Long Legged, Still Looking for a Tall Seat, Both of those would Help you... Maybe talk with them about a further peg drop? Good Luck! b. | ||

You Might want to check out some of the Custom seat makers Too. I think that is the route I'll end up going. I have a Tall seat that the previous owner Started carving on to make a low seat, thinking about building it back up with some thermofoam I have, then have that covered with something with a bit more traction as they do for Dirt bike seats. Keep me from sliding up onto the tank while braking, That is where the 2" drop pegs Really helped out, before, my long abused knees kept knocking into the cutouts. | ||

I have sort of bad knees also. Long rides I need to stretch them legs out. Before Palmer Hiway pegs, I would just drape leg over frame puck. Now use the Palmers and they work good to stretch out legs on open road after several hours of riding. Might consider lowering pegs, because legs not long enough for taller seat. 32" inseam. | ||

I have a 37" inseam and the same problem. I have a tall seat and the PE 2" drop pegs. The pegs are only 1" different than stock as the stock ones are 1" drop already. In other words you're only getting an inch more but it feels good! Much better peg too. | ||

Froggy - put your 1125 pegs on the Uly/Ss/whatever-it-is/was lol, and put the Uly pegs on the 1125. Direct swap. | ||

On the drop pegs - I have both the PE and the Knight Design. Both are great, well make and fit well. The PE pegs are very aggressive and I like them when I am going to be on dirt/gravel. The KD pegs are better for aggressive pavement riding, easier to shift your foot on the pegs. At 6'6" they are a must. IMHO | ||

I am wanting lower and flatter pegs so standing is easier. The stock peg has that sport style tipped forward and not a good thing for dual sport standing. Which aftermarket peg is flat footed and 1" lower than stock? Thanks, Euly | ||

I have the Precision Engineering 2" drop and love them and just installed the palmer highway pegs last night. I have a short drive to work but was very comfortable using the highway pegs. 6' 32" inseam. |
