I thought I would add a positive experience about this $160.00 piece of controversy. My first crack install wasnt great. When the heat came on a warmed up bike shifting really went to hell. Second time I ofcourse made sure i only turned 1/8th out and made sure I "felt" out the right place to lock down. Then just as important came the cable adjustment. They say 1/16th to 1 /8 play. Better make sure its no more than that. If you take the time the thing works and works trouble free. I mean no BS either like temperature enhanced shifts or problem finding neutral. Thats it. YOU can either feel the adj. or find someone who KNOWS. Its a very tight window for this to work like it should. I hope it continues. |
