For write up of problem leading to this one see "Stranded again-engine stopped". I got the electrical items fixed, a combination of a fuse and also the grey/orange wire not in fuse block completly. Fuse did not look bad but I swapped them all out also. Anyway 2 electrical problems w/a fuse that looks good is enough to drive a man to drink. Anyway bike runs and stays on, but now when I pull in clutsh lever Neutral light comes on. this is spooky. Things I had done to explore no power to engine and no lights in dash is remove the fly screen and headlights and checked grounds. Also took off pulley cover over the connectors for VR, battery and stator. Took out fuse block and took bottom tray off of it. Any ideas where to look or where the switch is. I am thinking it is behind the cover where the gear indicator switch is. I also appreciate all the help yesterday and also the Email Al of American sport bike sent to me. Thanks |

You pulled the diode out & put a fuse in or you put the diode in backwards after you removed it. |

Ronmold: You are correct, Diode went in backwards. Swapped around and works. If we ever bump into each other anywhere a beverage of your choice on my tab. Thanks |

Shoot, it doesn't take any electrical problems to drive me to drink, but i digress now. Glad to see you have figured this round of problems out. |
