ok, i have an 08 1125r, i bought it used, and i would really like to use the anti theft feature on the dash. the owners manual says factory code is 0000. The origional owner obviously changed it cause that is no longer to right one. I am wondering if there is a way to reset it back to the factory code. |

I believe a dealer can do it for a nominal fee of course. But before you do that try the last 4 of the vin some dealers use that as the security code. I know when I was a tech thats what I used for all my security setups |

Owner's manual says in fine print that "if a pin is lost or forgotten, see a Buell dealer" Assuming they have some sort of master code. |

Did you think about trying to find the last owner from the name on the title to call and ask for the code? |
