I reset the service counter after the first service and the tach needle still glows red at 5000 to 6000 rpms. Is there a way to change it to come on at higher rpm. Thanks. Oh, I have over 1300 miles on it. 09 R |

The service counter has nothing to do with the tach needle. It glows red at those RPMs when the engine is cold or you are in neutral/clutching. |

once the bike warms up fully the needle will not light until 10k rpms. |

Mine will still lite at 5-6k when warm if there is no load. It's a smart light ;+} |

yes you can change the many tables on the activation for the light. you need Ecmread to do it with Tunerpro. |

You guys are right on. Bike was in neutral and the sun was low, that needle really pops in low light. Its smarter than me. Thanks again! |
