Does anyone know the size of the 4 bolts for the trap door on the primary? Noob move, I was adjusting my clutch and had just finger tightened the bolts so I could take it off and on quickly because I couldn't get it adjusted quite right. I forgot to torque them tight when I was finished and needless to say, they're in the middle of the road somwehere now. |

I assume you mean the Derby cover screws. 1/4-20 x 5/8" button head. |

That would be the Derby cover, not the trap door. (The trap door is inside, behind the clutch basket.) Did you lose all of them? There is a spring that presses between the cover and the locking nut of the adjuster mechanism that may be missing as well. Can't help you with the bolt size, though. The nut is still there but the spring is gone as well, thanks for the help as always. I'm not sure where i was getting "trap door" from. The manual used that term when I was reading how to adjust the clutch. |

Are those part numbers cross reference same as the sportster? There are 2 Harley stealerships in my area and the one that sells Buell parts is farther away. |
