I have already installed the Buell switch pod with heater control (from American Sport Bike) on my '06 and plan on installing the Polly heaters soon (soon is defined as: when my wife decides I'm no longer spending more time with my motorcycle than with her). I have all the wiring figured out as far as the relay and the heaters, but I can't figure out to where and to what to wire the other two connectors on the switch pod harness (one male, one female). Can anyone offer some words of wisdom? Thanks Tim |

Does the switch pod normally drive a relay? Is the switch really that weak? |

No. The power comes from the battery through the switched relay to the switch pod. The relay is switched by the circuit for the lighting or something similar (ignition off/heaters off). |

Makes sense... thanks for the detail! |

Never mind. A little information goes a long way. To my embarrassment, it turns out they hook up to the Uly in about 5 seconds by connecting directly to the Aux power plug behind the flyscreen. |

Hey Reepi, What is the status on your heated grip controller? |

I don't want to step on a thread related to Al's most excellent Heater control pod package... the switch setup he is selling is a very good setup. |
