When the 1125's came out Petersons in Miami North wouldn't deliver any until his mechanics completed training.Rossmeyers has never had 1125 mechanics until just recently only because he finished school just before Buell shut down. Seemed like a nice guy but is new to the motorcycle thing.Don't think there are enough 1125's around for him to get very much experience. Would like to ride with some other Buell riders, gettin tired of Whoopin on all these RICE BIKES. |

BTW The mechanic from ft. lauderdale took the Harley course, I believe the 1125 training was just a short course. I guess if your stuck some training is better than none. |

Guy that was a good one LOL.Let the rice whoopin continue. In due time here on bad web we will be able to help each other repair our own bikes or know some one who can if a individual is not up to it. This will be a reality in the next few years. Not by our own choice. With the attitude at most H-D shops now regarding Buells it won't get better. |

Hey, this turned into a South FL thread! OK with me, so while we're at it, there are a few things on this weekend April 9th-11th: 1. Ducati Forza, on Andrews between Atlantic and Cypress Creek exits west of I95, has demo days on Friday and Saturday the 9th and 10th, 11 am-5pm. Ride all ducatis except I think the 1198s. Plus a World Superbike and MotoGP viewing party on Sunday starting at 1 PM, and BBQ! 2. Hooters swimsuit competitions @Hardrock Casino Saturday the 10th 7 PM, and Pembroke Pines Hooters the 14th. 3. Police Motorcycle Rodeo competition in Pompano Beach Copans and Fed Hwy. on the 10th, 8-4PM @www.southeastpolice.com Maybe that stuff above may make a few jealous of us living here! Until they see our flat, straight roads that is! It's still all good. And thanks for all the info. I did pick Peterson's N for the harness work because 2 mechanics had specific 1125 training. But it sounds like expertise may also vary some between stores; ie Sunrise maybe better then Ft Lauderdale Rossmeyers? I sold my 97 Cyclone after 20K miles; great bike, rode across Canada, San Diego to Laguna Seca, etc. Now I keep my 2000 S3T in St Pete, my 1125CR in Delray Beach, and my 1125R in Vegas. I'm a happy camper and think I have it covered! Although a Uly sure would be nice, especially in Nevada.... |
