Hi all, Thanks for the help last time. I have another questions. At low speeds in low gears I hear a whining sound that sounds like a transmission gear. I thought it might be the oil so I checked it. It was ok. I then put some belt lube thinking that might be it. No difference, but I didn't put very much lube. Does anyone else have this and what should I do about this whining? Thanks Peter |

Make sure your belt guard is not rubbing on the belt. You can either pry the guard over a little or add a washer to move it outboard. |

On acceleration or deceleration? Or both? |

Toothed belts will have a certain 'whine' associated with them. Also, the motor's valve train is partly driven by gears, another possible source of what your hearing. |

Should have asked this as well, my apologies. Does it do it with the clutch pulled in? |

Ratsmc, I think so. I'll have to check to be sure... Peter |
