Has anyone mounted a toll fast pass (issued by NJ highway for use on the east coast) behind the front fairing on an XBs? |

See http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 459525.html?1242413985 I don't know if the "don't carry it" approach will work everywhere, but it is worth checking out. The tollways must have optical scanners that look up your license plate #, since if you have a pass in a rental car that you've haven't registered its plate # with the tollway, they still come after you. |

I mount mine inside of the fly screen with velcro. I take it in and out of my pocket and stick it there when it's needed. It's right back in my pocket as soon as I pass the toll. Well, our equivalent (macpass) anyway.. |

They must work differently from the passes that NY uses, those passes are some sort of RF and you can use your pass in any car and I know many people that do this so I know it works. Too bad there isn't a little more room between the air cleaner cover and the air box. |

I have yet to buy / use an easy pass, but when I get around to it I had figured that I would put it in the empty well of my inner airbox cover so it is hidden (I have a 9, so I do not have an exhaust solenoid in that spot). |

I don't carry mine anymore, no matter where I put it, it was hit and miss in NY. Now I just blow through, it will read my plate and charge my account. |
