I just bought an 03 XB9R and the rear brakes are not grabbing at all. I can push the break down and still push the bike forward. This is my third xb9r and first time I have had rear brakes this bad. The fluid reservoir is showing it’s at the Lower mark. But before I get more fluid I wanted to get some advice first. Thanks, Steve |

Try taking the caliper off to see if the piston is moving at all. Is the fluid in the reservoir clear or cloudy? Make sure to flush out all the old fluid and air bleed. |

There is a good chance that it is still running the original fluid since 03. I agree with Terry's advice, I would flush it out and start from scratch. ![: )](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/happy.gif) |

I truly appreciate your input. I bought the Bike that was for in Downers Grove. So now I’m just getting all the bugs worked out. |
