Ok, the last time I rode my new CR, it was hard to shift at low speeds/rpms and to find neutral. If in neutral at a light for example and when I put it in gear, it would jump a little, like the clutch isn't fully disengaged. The bike only has about 120 miles on it and the 2 times before this occurred, it didn't do this. The only thing I have done to it is to rotate the switch/clutch reservoir/mirrors forward. The service manual isn't a lot of help, but the only thing that makes sense is that I need to bleed the clutch. I can't see how air could have infiltrated the fluid by me moving the reservoir slightly. I don't see evidence of a leak anywhere and the fluid still seems to be covering the sight glass. Has anyone bled their clutch? I read the procedure, and while it doesn't sound like rocket science, it also doesn't seem as clear cut as bleeding brakes (tighten bleeder before lever reaches bottom). Suggestions/ideas welcome. |

Check your clutch fluid reservoir, refill if required and bleed the system, it may not have been correctly filled or checked at the pre delivery inspection or you may be loosing clutch fluid, any sign of a leak? |
