Just installed the DDM's 55W in 5000K. Pretty easy install, less than an hour. Huge difference over the halogen's. How do you post pics? Keeps saying everything is too BIG} |

I agree ... the CR with the dual 55W HIDs are great for night riding and for being more visible on sunny days. I'm sure the R is 2x as good with 4 bulbs (or even just 2 for the dipped/low beam). I got them in the 6000K color from DDM. I've found the easiest way to do pictures here is to upload your pics to a host site like PhotoBucket.com. They automatically resize your pics, and you can resize them and edit them more so if you choose to later on. Then use this code: \ imagelink{link here} Replace the "link here" inside the brackets with the Direct Link code it gives you under each picture in PhotoBucket, and you're done! Also, delete the space after the forward slash \ ... it's the only way I can display the code without an error since I'm not actually linking to a pic. |

I was surprised at how well the cutoff and beam pattern was retained when I made the switch. I thought for sure that the pattern would be off and glare would be present. But the reflector does a great job at controlling the beam and I think the flyscreen does a good job at keep the upward glare to a minimum. |

Looks great, this will be my next upgrade, i have a touch of night blindness so it is a must for me. where did you get the kit from? how much were they? and do you have a pic of how big the ballast is? last one i installed in my VTX, had a ballast about the size of a credit card. |

http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=10 1&parent=0 Slim ballast kit. The ballast are about the size of a visa for these too. They have a "to scale" pic on their site. |

Both high and low are H7's To install the high beam you will have to modify (cut) the high beam bulb holder |
