I wish there was a real review of the Drummer, not just a add for the system.I have no doubt as to the quality and fit-finish of the product but for $400 considering he uses your old muffler, not exactly a bargain buy.....Just something to consider before spending your hard earned money on.. |

The SS is built with all new components and does not use the oem can and cost over half again as much as the one built on the customers core. Harold's seems to be happy with his choice and that's what counts. |

We had a few inches the other week, it was the good kind of snow, the kind that melts away the next day. |

HWY60 is pretty tame relatively speaking. Still a fun road, but it's really the main connector to so more fun/technical roads up this way. |

My friend had the race exhaust and an original dual outlet drummer on his XB9. The race exhaust sounded great. Not that loud at idle, was aggressive when it you got on it. The drummer sounded even better. It's mean at idle, even better while your riding. It sounds like a small block. I bought my xb12 after his accident. I never heard a stock exhaust and it needed to go right away. I've snuck up on several people. I was going to go with Hawk because of good reviews/quick turnaround/great price. I got a great deal on a drummer with the billet end cap. I'm sure I'll be extremely happy. |

What is your ETA for 20k posts? Do you have it calculated? |

It really depends on how slow work is, but I can easily bang out 40 posts a day (all of them productive). If I maintain that, it would be 135 days, but that is unrealistic, so I would say within 200 days. By the way, that Drummer SS looks sweet on your S |

Thanks, I am dying for some warmer weather to ride this thing along with the rest of the country. Can't wait to spend some time listening to it on some twisty back road. The SS and the XB12s put a smile on my face that I haven't had for a long time. Best thing I ever did was to trade my Sportster for this XB. I will never own another cruiser of any type again. |

The Drummer SS has a very sharp, deep sound, after about 30 miles, it sort of hurts my ears if I don't have my snug fitting helmet on. Snug helment and it sounds great. (Message edited by hodakaharold on March 09, 2010) |

I think the one that came on my xb9s when i bought and is on it now is the polished buell pro series muffler. its nice. deep, loud, and not overwhelming. sounds real good. |

Froggy/BadS1, Kevin did indeed make a dual outlet muffler (nice pic - notice it also retained the valve) - the econo Drummer. I have one on my Firebolt. I bought it from a member here on Bad Web when I had my Uly. When I traded my 06 Uly for the 08 Firebolt I had the dealer swap the mufflers for me. I still love it. |
