xt for us more vertically challenged people. along with the luggage you get the heated grips(not to bad) and the taller windsceen(the only bad thing about the whole bike) |

i did a 600 mile trip the day after i bought the xt and it beat me to death. i couldn't wait to get off the bike because of the noise and turbulence from it. got the palmer brackets and a taller windscreen and i've never been happier. i even tried the standard windscreen and decided to not have anything. i'm sure it makes a difference on how tall you are also. |

Forks; shock; spring; seat height; suspension travel (more on X); suspension valving and spring rates; reinforced wheels on X; standard bags on XT; taller windscreen on XT. |
