I'm kind of in the same boat Ponti. I already booked the hotel for 16-20th but I don't know if I should arrive there the 15th or 16th. If nothing is happening the 16th I guess I'll use that for a travel day. Same goes for the 20th, should I leave that day or leave the 21st?
there will be planned events on Wednesday and Thursday. More on Thursday. You also need to sign in to get your wristbands, so the earlier the better. When things get more concrete, we'll post them.
Right now our plan is to come over on Friday. I see that check-in isn't until 3:00. Will there be a place to pick up the packets that late? I'd really hate to make someone miss all the fun waiting for us to check in.
Just a heads up to all that are planning on coming to Homecoming. Alpine Valley is booking room's at a relatively good rate of speed. If you want to stay at the Resort, you may want to get your plans in order.
I figured it was a little early for this type of request but thought I'd get it out anyway.
I really appreciate what you guys have done to set this up and the other Homecomings too. Some people have no idea of the amount of work and stress it takes to put something like this on.
Thanks Mike... right now its not toooooo bad but as it come to crunch time I think the stress level may get to us a bit. We just need to stay all on the same page, not argue, and dot all are I's and cross all are T's.
Got my room booked now for the 16th through the 20th. Talked my dad into coming also, not that it really took much. Just had to mention it and and he is there. He rides a Vulcan but I'm sure my fellow Bueller's won't mind.
Right now, we have 60 rooms rented, 64 left. One is a suite, the rest have double beds. I waited too long and got a room with 2 double beds, so the Wife and I will have to share one while our Son gets his own! See? I'm planning this thing and I ain't getting any special treatment!!
My Room is booked. I'm right next to you Rocco. We actually had a 120 room's blocked to start with. The Resort is 160. So we aren't quite half way there. But if people let it go past March to book. They will not get the room rates and possibly not getting in for other reasons the resort filled. So get it done everyone if you can.
We are in the early planning stages of a track day at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, Il on June 17th, 2010. Bud Curtis met with the BHF track day organizer today, and they have agreed to put on a track day for us during Homecoming 2010 if response can support it. But to continue in the planning, we need a fairly accurate response from all of you.
Obviously this will be an extra cost option for everyone. Just like the banquet, we need 100 people to sign up for the track day, or it just wont happen. But I have a feeling that this track day will fill up fast. Our local group usually has anywhere from 6 to 12 riders attending. Blackhawk puts on a VERY well organized, safe, and fun track day.
This will be a rare chance to ride with fellow Buellers in a controlled environment. A track day where Buells Aren't a minority. We even have offers from more than one Buell racer to be a control rider during this event.

The prices have gone up slightly for 2010. Instead of $165 pre-order as stated on the PDF, it will be $170 if paid in advance.
