m2me, the poster needs to be 17 x 24 because that is what the sponsors want !! We now have 4 official sponsors and $600 and a possibility of $700, if no one else sponsors we will have to just divide the remaining amount including any shipping costs by the number sold !! I don't think anyone has a problem with that ?? It's a one time 20th event and I think EVERYONE would be happier with the big poster, we are Badweb let's "Live Large" !! Any disagreements there ?? I need to know when the poster will be ready to be printed, after the other two sponsors' logos are on there ! (and any others we might get, I'm working one or two more) CJM

Bill/Nevco had an idea to actually try & make a profit on the posters & donate that profit to Team Elves. Since the pot has been stirred & the cage rattled, a few more sponsors have come forth & at least 1 other one offered to double his sponsorship fee. It appears that the costs wil be covered & John can go for the bigger sized posters. I would suggest charging between $3-5 per poster, since it would be pure profit the amount is not really important. Any & all profit would go to team elves. Maybe those of us who buy a poster could get our names on the next LSR Bike? Any thoughts on this idea????? |

And if you still need a sponsor let me know and I will check with my dealer. FMJ - please do check with your dealer, we could use another sponsor, and I bet the logo would look darn good on that poster !! We'd send em a couple to hang in their shop !! And I've got you down at 10, Thanks !! CJM |

I have no problem with the profit, if any going to Team Elves. We weren't trying to make a profit, just get everyone a cool looking poster !! But whatever everyone wants works for me !! We now have 4 sponsors and are at $600, still need at least 2 more at $100 each to cover printing cost. Then there is the cost of shipping the posters to Wisconsin, then tubes to mail them out to those wanting to get them that way, and of course the postage cost ! CJM

CMJ, Put me down for 5 and charge the $5 to cover the tube and postage. IMO It's a great idea. Dyna, The only problem is which LSR bike. There are several now. I'd be proud to put a few of the fine people on this boards name on mine though. Ray |

Ray, It wouldnt matter to me which bike so long as it was one of the team elves bikes. Come on folks what do think of the idea of making some $$$ on poster sales & donating 100% of the profit towards team elves in exchange for your name on a bike? I know Bill has been in touch with spidey about it. Where do we sit on this Tony? Any further discussions or what? |

Ray...just perhaps it would offset the hospitality area Team Elves provides for all Bueller's attending and participating in the event. You know a little something from those of us that care and value what they do and that results in a positive image for us all. I was at the Team Elves event last fall at Uke's and was really impressed with the Team. Court often mentions how expensive it is to run the event, etc. So I didn't think it was have been a bad idea. Just sell the posters, with tube and postage for $5 to $10, which would be somewhere above break even, eliminate confusion on the pricing and sell the hell out of them as the effort is a not-for-profit venture which would be supported with the donation. I, for one, value every bit of info that Aaron and the other participants posts here and you know they ain't getting paid for it. Would be wiser for them to plant a few seeds and get you to buy their products and services, but they are just that good hearted. Simply an Old Guys not so humble opinion. Hope you enjoyed it. Bill |

From memory, your name on the bike deal cost a $50 donation or more....? But if we buy in bulk maybe we get a price break? Sorta like a Badweb Sams Club. Hows about on the side of the bike hauler then? |

Whoops...Forgot to mention that I am willing to bet dollars to donuts that not too many of the folks attending the Buell 20th are going to want to carry their prized poster home on the bike. Chances are almost all will be mailed, which means a small quantity could be sent to the event and the rest shipped from the local where they are made. Hell, the postage will be the same anywhere in the the contiguous 48 States. Then again you can ship them all to my home and I will ship the ones that didn't sell at the event. I only live about three miles from Hal's, not much further to Uke's and have the time. Just trying to be of service. |

Dyna...The BWB is probably already on the bike(s). Just helping to cover other expenses making it better for all in attendance would be a nice touch. Just look at all Fireman Jim is going through to run. Yeah, he probably has a few sponsors, but more water and more shade with some lawn chairs might make things easier on all. Additionally, the donation, if the group elects to go this route, will be to the Team. How they spend it is up to them. You've met them and I know we can trust each and every one of them to do the right thing. |

I agree completely. Let the entire team have it & decide how they want to spend it. Hell if they spend it all on gatorade to keep from dying thats fine by me. |

Nevco1 & Dyna, Yes, BWB is already on the bike as everyone has contributed alot of support and information from this board. As for the donation this is truly a team effort and I for one allows Court to figure out the money and what it is used for. I'm busy enough just prepping the bike to go. Aaron doesn't kid you when he says this takes alot of work. This poster idea is great and as I stated above I'm in for (5) whatever the cost. All I was telling Dyna was that I was willing to put a few names on my bike, but it's only a Blast don't know how many I can get on there. All you folks ROCK, Ray |
