First ride in over two months. The conditions finally met my criteria. Rain the night before to get rid of the salt and above freezing (34F) Lots of changes to the bike since I last rode it. New tires and 2010 rear wheel and bearings New swing arm and brake rotor. Comfort kit inner shroud and ECM update. K&N air filter and new plugs I also got to try out my new Alpinstars Scout waterproof boots. The bike had been running a little rough the last outing in the fall. I can report that it ran flawlessly today, no hesitation or sputter, nice and smooth with lots of power.

Nice, I wish I was riding, roads here are white with salt. Maybe if I pray for rain and continued warming. |

Salt won't hurt powdercoat and plastic - my '06 is living proof. GO RIDE ok...might want to hose off the muffler when you get home... |

How'd the boots do? At least they look good. I gotta' jump start my bikes tomorrow so I can ride - they wouldn't catch today in 50-degree weather. Poor things haven't been run in too long. |

Boots were nice and warm, a little stiff but I think thats the idea. Didn't get a chance to see if they were actually waterproof, |
