I know it's not a Buell, but it has some Buell parts added!!! It already had the Pro-Taper fatties on it so these bars sat right in there.
My lightning had a set of the above chromed ones on there till I decided to go with a a straight drag bar set up. I also used the precision engineering 1" riders and a another riser set that I made.
I'm instead thinking of Woodworks clip-ons, ergo's aren't going to be the same but theres no need for risers or anything, they just bolt on below the triple tree. Definitely be more hunched over and I've contacted them and they said they've had NUMBERS of Buell owners buy their clip-ons without need for new cables. And, the bars are replaceable in the even of a crash.
Just my $.02 on this one, if you are considering any clubman or clipon change, i would go with the cheap clubman bars and the homemade riser setup just to see how it feels. It is a very dramatic difference in riding position over the stock lightning bars or even the stock firebolt clipons. Under $20 for cheap clubmans and $10 worth of hardware is easy to eat if ya don't like it. Otherwise it's an awesome mod, i've been running mine for 2 years now and love the position!
Wtf? I can't pop anything up for Woodworks either. Did the go de-func? I remember for a fact that they had a site. Let me dig through my old emails and maybe I'll find the address I contacted them at and I'll contact them again.
Duh, shoot me now, it's not Woodworks, it's Woodcraft. Here's the link, there's no set specifically for Buell, they're just the 41mm set. www.woodcraft-cfm.com
Looking at AdrenalinMoto's XR1200, it would look badassed with some clip-ons. Kind of like Adrenalin-Moto's XR1200 cafe racer, but without the ugly fairing and more lower.
