Is there a way to adjust the tps without a scanner? I was wondering if it can be done by judging the rpms?? |

No, because the TPS value on the ECM needs to be reset to 0 when you have the idle screw backed out. If you just played with the screw, all you would be doing is readjusting the idle. It takes only 5 minutes to do a TPS reset, and the cable can be had for about $50 while the software is free. |
