My 09 has the Skyline seat and it's too low... I'm looking for a taller seat so I don't have to bend my knees so much. I noticed the 05-08 has a taller seat, are their others? The seat on my buddies 07 XB12STT is perfect but it doesn't fit my bike. If I can find another low/skyline seat, I can upholster it with custom foam and a new cover. If anyone has anything, please let me know. Thank you! |

IMO, you would be better off with a Select Seat. I have one of those, a standard S seat, an SCG seat, and my brother has a CityX seat so I've used all of those. The CityX seat is so full of mush that you actually sit lower than the standard seat once your weight is on it. The Select Seat has a firmer foam and gel to it, and is by far the most comfortable and tallest. If you're just looking to custom stuff and cover a seat, they all use the same seat pan. |

The Select seat is much more comfortable. I think it it a little taller than the stock 09 seat. I have the opposite problem, but I am not going back to a stock seat. |
