Okay got the total weight. HR1 full setup for Buell is 9lbs. that is the 3lb can and the Y aluminized piping. Youtube will show the setup and the Y style. |

Suprisingly enough I am wrong it comes out to almost the same weight between the two set ups. The can was lighter from FMF. I guess I suck at determining weight. It seemed heavier. The can is heavier from FMF the piping set up is lighter. So savings is negligible between the two. Another jump the gun conclusion by me. (Message edited by freezerburn840 on November 17, 2009) |

This is all claims at least I touched the can from FMF. I still went with HR1. I am going to live with my purchase. Personally I dont see a thing wrong with either they accomplish things differently to get weight savings. FMF's deal cant be beat right now. I know that much. |

badlionsfan, do yourself a favor. You're trying to correct the wrong person. And while we're at it I have a question. Unless you plan on racing, is the weight of a few pounds between aftermarket exhausts all that important? I think quality, availability and warranty would be the most important. And ease of upkeep. Also, I don't see the 1125 version of the HR1 pipe on their site. Just the XB version. Not criticizing anyone for their choice. |
