my bike has 18 miles...there are no nails or damage yet the tire is almost flat withing a few days....is this something that is warrantable?> my bike must have sat a long time as the battery is also dead(i am charging it now..it lasted a week or so from when i got it) |

Always a chance there is a pin hole in the wheel casting as well. |

Soapy water is your friend in this situation. I bet you have a sliver of metal in your tire. |

Regarding the battery, once you get it charged up, use a battery tender. It'll make life much easier and one less thing to worry about. |

Make sure the valve core is tight or better yet, just replace it. |

my front had a small pinhole in the wheel casting where the spoke met the rim. found it with a 409 spray bottle while cleaning the rim. warranty replaced. tim |

Well the reason I said pin hole is about 4 yrs ago I bought an xb9 wrecked and fixed it to resell and the front tire keep going down and i soaped the tire and wheel and also had a pin hole by a spoke. Heck maybe that's how the bike got wrecked low front tire. |

valve core yes,that's what I meant. My buddy's Gixxer was down to 6-7 lbs of air mysteriously and it was a loose valve stem core. I would bet that's the problem. It could be loose or just plain leaky. Extremely easy to tighten and or replace.} |
