I am posting this for anyone who would like to know, as I do, what the latest information is on Jardine's Pro Tune 3 tuning module. Who's running it? Are you satisfied? What mods you have and any other input you may want to add. Specifically, what altitude you are at and what are your AFV's with this unit? May be my next addition. Thanks much, Bob | ||

I'm running it, and I'm definitely satisfied --- even though I keep it set to the default; it seems just fine without any further addition of fuel. I bumped it up a little at one point but the extra boost seemed minimal whereas the decrease in economy was definitely noticeable. I'm running the Jardine RT5 (carbon fiber) exhaust, for which the PT3 is specifically designed. It definitely performs better with the card than with the exhaust alone. I do not know how the card would stack up against an actual tune; I suspect the tune would win, but the card can be altered, reset, or removed altogether in minutes by any idiot (and I should know). Additionally, I have removed the inner airbox and the solenoid. I'm in Riverside CA (sorry, you'll have to look up the exact altitude, but I believe it would be <1000 ft). Most of my spirited driving is on Highways 18 and 330 (up to Lake Arrowhead and back). The altitude along the 1-hour route is posted as being from 1000 or 2000 (can't remember what the first sign says) up to something over 6000. My AFV's vary a little from time to time, but they stay in the neighborhood of 97.5 (front) and 105 (rear). At the time I bought the card, there was a deal going on: buy any Jardine pipe and the card is $150 (instead of the usual $310). I don't know if that deal is still going on (I would ask) but the CF pipe and card cost me about $770 including CA sales tax --- I got an additional 15% off at Bike Night at Skip Fordyce HD in Riverside. I would recommend the setup to anyone. | ||

I'm running it with the FMF slipon and I'm very happy with the results. It's a plug and play solution and that's what I was looking for. My AFV values are 110.5 F and 100 R. I haven't played with the settings other than I set the "green" zone all the was to the left (per Chris at Jardine) and I don't plan on messing with it at this time. I've got the K&N filter, no noid, and I cut about 6-1" holes in the airbox I'm located in Central Ohio at about 600-800 ft ASL. | ||

I'm running a carbon Jardine RT5 with the Pro Tune 3 on my 09 1125R. Also a K&N filter. The Pro Tune was supposed to be preset for my bike from the folks at Jardine. It felt a little lean and the dyno agreed. We had to richen the "Green Mode" (Cruise Condition) and the "Green/Blue Mode" (Accelerator Pump) a bit. It runs great now. Just a little "pop" from the pipe now and then with hard down shifting decelerations but I thinks that's to be expected. Oh, and it's LOUD! | ||
