I like it. Wish they would make one for the 1125. They're closed right now or I would ask them.

That is their GP fairing for the S1. It's been out for years. |

It's a good looking fairing but you'll notice, RARELY do you see fairings with a REAL rider sitting in a REAL riding/racing position behind it. If you did, you'd see how much MORE fairing you'd need to actually FAIR-in the rider. Face it, a riders head/shoulders/arms/upper body just aren't very streamlined and having them being pushed through the air takes power. |

My Pro Thunder X1 with an Airtech faring. The bike has quite a history in racing. It's a track day weapon now. It's fun to embarrass some of the "Big Four" riders. I finally picked up a used 1125R to upgrade. I'll still have this one out there. I'll be at the Mid-Ohio track day on the fourth if anyone is going.

CFBoss- The fairing you used on your X1 is the S1 fairing from AS? What mods where needed to work with the X1 frame? |

No mods were required. However, the bike has an S1 tank on it. The tail section is a Factory race part. The subframe as well. It's made from small diameter tubular steel. The windscreen you see on my bike is the double bubble. Gustafsson Plastics made it for me. You can buy them on his website now. I know the gentlemen with the original molds that Buell used for the race bikes. I'm trying to get the original bodywork from the AMA Pro Thunder days for this bike. I also added some NACA ducts on both sides for better cooling. Email me and I can send you better pics. Chris, |
